Both are QFN32 voice playback ICs with identical pinouts, control interfaces, and power characteristics. The only difference is the built-in voice memory:
WTV380-32N = 380 seconds
WTV890-32N = 890 seconds
Choose based on your total audio length requirements. Both share the same 32-bit 120MHz processor, 0.5W Class D amplifier, and UART/1-Wire/2-Wire/Key control interfaces.
Yes. The deep sleep current is <2μA, making it ideal for smart locks, wireless sensors, and portable health monitors that need to run on batteries for years. The chip enters normal sleep mode by default 5 seconds after power-on and can be commanded into deep sleep via UART.
Yes. Both support external SPI-Flash up to 128Mbit. With external Flash, voice capacity can be further expanded beyond 900 seconds for multi-language broadcasts or extended advertisements.
Note: Waytronic-certified Flash models are recommended — other manufacturers’ Flash cannot be guaranteed to work properly.
MP3 and WAV formats, with bit rates from 8kbps to 320kbps. This covers everything from low-bitrate speech to high-quality music playback.
The QFN32 package provides up to 27 I/O ports. These can be used for driving LEDs, reading buttons, controlling motors, and interfacing with sensors such as Hall sensors.
2.0V ~ 5.5V for the QFN32 package. The wide voltage range allows direct use in both 3.3V and 5V systems. I/O logic level is 3.3V — level-shifting circuitry is recommended when interfacing with 5V MCUs.
